Terms and Conditions
This page outlines the terms governing purchases, warranties, and use of our website and materials. Please read carefully.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all quotations, supply and installation of goods and services by Southern Cross Electronic Security Pty Ltd (ACN 169 122 034), Master Security Licence No. 000102200 (“SCES”). Use the links on the left to jump to a section. Click a heading to open its details.
All quotations issued by SCES are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Acceptance of a quotation constitutes agreement to SCES' standard terms of sale. Pricing is exclusive of GST unless otherwise noted.
- Deposit: typically 50% on order, balance on completion unless otherwise agreed.
- Price basis: quoted prices exclude GST unless specified otherwise.
- Title and risk: risk passes on delivery; title passes on full payment.
Delivery and installation dates are estimates and dependent on site access and supplier lead times. SCES will take reasonable steps to meet dates but is not liable for delays outside our control (supplier shortages, site access, weather, etc.).
Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due within 14 days from the date of invoice. Overdue accounts may attract interest or suspension of services until cleared.
SCES provides a 12-month labour warranty on new installations unless otherwise specified. Manufacturer parts warranties apply separately. Warranty does not cover misuse, unauthorised modification, or third-party damage.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SCES excludes liability for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from products or services supplied.
Website content is provided for general information only and may be updated without notice. Reproduction is prohibited without written permission from SCES.
SCES may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is published on this page; customers should check for changes regularly.
