Network infrastructure

Network infrastructure

We design and supply the CCTV network. On most strata sites, and many commercial ones, we install dedicated structured cabling and PoE switching for the cameras. Where a commercial site already has suitable switching, we can use selected ports to reduce new cabling while keeping CCTV traffic logically separated. New runs are typically Cat6, with fibre uplinks between buildings or risers for longer distances.

Coverage and image quality

Coverage and image quality

Often, the right lens and position matter more than resolution. We map the areas that need face recognition or number plates where lawful and practical, then select lenses and positions that achieve that in both day and night conditions.

Mobile viewing and remote access

Mobile viewing and remote access

Authorised users can securely view live and recorded video from phones, tablets or desktops.

Analytics and search

Analytics and search

AI analytics speed up investigations and reduce manual searching. Options include face detection and recognition, person and vehicle detection, number plate recognition, object left or removed, line crossing, intrusion zones, loitering and people counting. Smart search lets you filter by face match, vehicle type or a path through the scene.

Integration options

Integration options

Tie IP CCTV to access control and intercom so door releases, alarms or calls are bookmarked on video. This speeds up incident reviews and improves accountability.

Storage and retention

Storage and retention

Choose on site NVR or VMS, cloud storage or a hybrid. We size storage to meet your retention target and set recording so important events are captured without gaps so evidence is ready when you need it.

Resilience and security

Resilience and security

Power continuity comes first. We specify UPS for recorders, PoE switches and any network gear that keeps cameras online. Cameras continue recording during internet outages because video is stored on site. For cloud or hybrid setups, a local buffer bridges short interruptions.
